Accessibility Statement

Great Lakes Food Solutions is committed to making this website usable for everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology.

Our commitment

We want every visitor to be able to learn about our capabilities and reach our team. We treat accessibility as an ongoing part of how we build and maintain this site, not a one-time task.

Conformance target

This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. WCAG 2.1 AA is the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in practice, by Section 508, and by state laws including California and Colorado. We assess the site with both automated testing (axe-core) and manual keyboard and screen-reader checks.

What we do to support accessibility

  • Semantic HTML with a single H1 and a logical heading order on every page
  • A visible "skip to main content" link and keyboard access to all interactive elements
  • A visible focus indicator designed to show on any background
  • Color contrast that meets WCAG 2.1 AA (4.5:1 for text, 3:1 for large text and controls)
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images; decorative images are hidden from assistive tech
  • Form fields with visible labels, clear error messages, and status announcements
  • Support for browser zoom to 200% and for reduced-motion preferences

Tell us about a barrier

If you have trouble accessing any part of this website, or need information in a different format, please let us know and we will help. Tell us the page and what you were trying to do, and we will work to resolve it and provide the information you need.

Ongoing effort

Accessibility is an area of continuous improvement. Some content may not yet be fully optimized, and we welcome feedback that helps us do better. This statement was last reviewed in July 2026.
